Gugel
The term Gugel denotes the hemispherical extension on the bottom side of a number of PANArt instruments. It enhances the vessel volume and lowers this way the tone pitch of the Helmholtz resonance. Instruments with a Gugel are the Gubal, the Hang Urgu, the Hang Gudu and the Hang Bal.
